    Default IVF/FET Dec 18/Jan 19

Thought I’d start the new thread as the month is ending! Can’t believe it’s December!! Anyone else squeezing a cycle in this month before clinics close down for the break?

So we should be able to get a cycle in before Christmas - started spotting today and bright red tonight, so will count tomorrow as CD1 and head into the clinic in the morning. AF arrived 2 days early, exactly 14 days from when I triggered so I have a feeling that I may not have needed the trigger, I must have ovulated without it.

Feeling hopeful that this cycle will have more positive results than one lousy follicle. Be interesting to see what the new treatment plan is.

I’m out for December. Haven’t decided yet for January...

    All the best

I'm on Day 7 of my first cycle over here in WA. On Scitropin A and Gonal-f so far and we'll see if they want to add some more when they call with my blood test results this afternoon. Good luck pcos30!

Hi all, I am new to the forum but joining you this month. 3rd IVF cycle, took first injection of Gonal-F this morning. Although I have had good numbers of eggs collected at both previous cycles, further results have been very disappointing:

    - 1st cycle: 23 eggs collected, 18 mature, 5 fertilised, only 1 made it to day 5 - BFN
    - 2nd cycle: 13 eggs collected, 8 mature, 0 fertilised

It makes me a bit nervous this time. I have taken a 3-month break just eating and living healthily, taking melatonin and CoQ10, but feel that if results are disappointing again, there is not much more I can do. Fingers crossed this time will be different! Good luck all!

Well I’m out already! My day 1 bloods were odd, so I had to go back day 2 for a scan as they thought it was a cyst. Nope, not a cyst, but a fully mature follicle at CD2. Like, WTF? So my cycle is cancelled, and won’t be able to cycle again til February thanks to Christmas.

So good luck everyone! I mean this in the best way possible that I hope not to see you in a February thread!

@Pcos30 I am so sorry to hear that. I didn't even know that was possible! Must be very frustrating that what we aim for (mature follicles) is now preventing you from continuing your cycle.

Anyone else starting a cycle before the Xmas period?

    Hi everyone,
I'm going to be starting my first IVF cycle at the end of December. If all goes well timing wise reg next period, I will be starting injections around boxing day or day after
I'm starting to feel very nervous excited if that makes sense. I'm going to try and enjoy the journey as much as possible but I know there will be a lot of ups and downs with hormones flying off the radar along the way.
I've been diagnosed with endometriosis 17 years ago, had 2 laps to help it but apparently it's come back. I don't think it's as bad as it used to be and won't be having any more laps if I can help it as my AMH is already on the lower side (5.1 @ 37yrs) I'll be on Gonal F and Cetrotide on an antagonist cycle....whatever that means, still trying to figure it all out but don't know much about protocols etc.
Good luck to all you lovely ladies starting earlier
Just want the time to fly by so I can start too

Hi ladies, hope you don’t mind me jumping over from the oct/nov thread. I did an FET last month and got bt results back today which came back at a hcg level of 3. I started getting positive hpts from last Wednesday but they got progressively lighter day by day so I kind of suspected it was going to end up as a chemical. I have to do another bt on Thursday but chances of it increasing are slim to none.

I have an appointment with my FS on the 19th so I’ll see what he says. I still have another pgs tested frosty so will most likely transfer that one in the new year.

Hoping that 2019 is our year 🤞

Hi all - fingers crossed December / January are our lucky months! Maybe a bit of Christmas luck.
I had my FET yesterday, doing a medicated cycle. It's only been 1 day and I'm already really wanting to test which is crazy!

I found out that I finally ovulated today on day 20 so my transfer will be on Sunday. Not sure why it was so late this month as I normally have very regular cycles. This is the first time that I haven't had a trigger in a frozen cycle so feel a bit nervous about the accuracy of the timing but we'll see.
