Default Freaking centrelink changed my payment day- no warning

I have always received Family Tax Benefit on THURSDAYS for EVER. Now I happened to click on my My Gov account and they have changed it from thursday to tuesday, doesnt sound like an issue except it is the FOLLOWING Tuesday, not the tuesday before the usual payment date.

So now all my direct debits cant come out, Telstra will now be overdue and I will get late fees and I have my twin girls birthday party on the 23rd November ( would have been paid on the 22nd and now I wont get paid until the following Tuesday) and my husband is going ballistic about having to pay for the party.

If I had a normal husband who wasnt an ahole 99% of the time if it involves money in any way this would all be less stressful .( we keep out finances completely separate, I pay for ALL the kids stuff and the internet and food alternate weeks, he pays mortgage and utilities and food alternate weeks)

Has anyone had Centrelink just do this with NO WARNING? There is no inbox letter, nothing.

That is weird. I know sometimes the Mygov letters are two-three days late, after the fact, so maybe one is still coming. No chance it's just a one off, around a public holiday or something?

I had it happen to me once years ago when my now 18 year old was a baby, following a big shakeup of the system when GST was introduced and centrelink payments were altered.

Never randomly for no reason though. Have you tried calling them?

It is Sunday, I cant call until tomorrow. Im planning to go in there though rather than sit on the phone for 3 hours waiting.
It is such a stuff around. I dont understand why they would change it, there is no reason.
