Eek! What do you make with just a metre though? Or are they all leftovers? If I buy for the hell of it I buy at least 2m so that there’s more I can make with it.

I make baby blankets ,wraps, burp cloths, taggy blankets to donate to charities like homeless shelters plus I’m making Xmas gifts this year for my parents. I don’t make clothes as I have no idea how to read a pattern let alone cut one out . I always buy 1m as it’s enough for a baby blanket and when I start making big play mats for the floor , I’ll mix n match .

Ohh, ok fair enough. Makes sense! Whereas I have almost exclusively made clothes. I actually like the idea of making little things to use up my leftovers from clothes that I’ve made. I’ve got a lot of scraps that are too small for outfits but too big to throw out.

If they're the same fabric, and match - my mum used to sew then all together and make something patchwork....

I'm remembering a jumper with about 8 different patches of solid colours she made my little brother once. She used to always get comments on it!

Tops for myself this time! I’ve found the perfect pattern at P4P (Patterns for Pirates), the tulip tee. And from memory it was one of their free patterns. I also bought the tiny tulip pattern and I’m going to make a matching one in the floral print for DD.
The stripey one was just a test but I actually like it enough to keep it. I’m so happy with this pattern, the length is exactly how I like to wear tees.

Looks awesome! Love all your recent sewing. I need to get my sewjo back, I have a few things I want to make for Christmas but haven’t done any sewing for like 6 weeks!

Went to spotlight to get one roll of cotton to fix a pair of hubby’s pants. Came out with a lot more than that, but got this for $2.80/m (it was marked as $4/m which I thought was good)! I think I’ll make myself some pattern emporium swing shorts; if not I’ll make DD or my niece a dress or some shorts. Love a bargain!IMG_4690.jpg
