But you’ve now got me thinking that the injection is better - I wonder why she changed her mind? It is painful / expensive / other?
Thanks again for taking time to reply when you’re busy and - pregnant!

It's a single injection which puts you in temporary menopause, ie switches off your ovaries so no estrogen is produced and no follicles grow. Side effects vary, for some women there aren't any, for others it's basically what they say about menopause - headaches, hot flushes. My local FS here said they don't use it in Australia because most women won't ovulate through Progynova, but o/s many clinics use it so as not to take any chances, because unplanned ovulation does happen (as you'd know).
For this successful cycle I had my depot shot about a week before starting Progynova, so what side effects I had didn't last long (Progynova counters them by pumping estrogen into your body).

@Justme007 I also had the depot injection like @Kalina, for both my fresh cycle and my fet in Czech, I got symptoms both time, lucky me and unlucky family with my protocol for my fresh I had my injection on July 27 and transfer was 6 October. The effects last about 6 wks when you do the one off depot injection. It was pretty much the same for my fet as well, although the clinic I went to didn’t require the depot injection for their fets, but I chose to do it.

You've been in my thoughts and prayers @Juventina. I think I will be holding my breath the whole time you're away as I know what a big journey this has been for you. I hope and pray that this time is the charm for you. Xx

I’ve come home in tears today crying at being overwhelmed with the work load.
My supervisor is very unsupportive and won’t provide any of us any assistance. The manager above is the same.
    I am so
Worried that the stress of work is going to make me miscarry or lose these precious babies that we have longed for
    So long.
We can’t afford for me to stop working and I don’t want to. My job is rewarding as we help a very high risk group of people (violent, mental health concerns etc).

Do I take. A few days off?
Would love some advice? Have any of you been through the same thing?

Thanks so much in advance xx
Hi @aussieofftogreece, although the ladies have given you great advice, I also wanted to add my thoughts here too. Listen to your body and trust your gut. Take time off if you need it and don't give it a second thought. I also agree with the reduced work week/fortnight approach where your time off is supported by a medical certificate. Put yourself (and babies) first. I told my manager from the start that we were goung to Greece for DE and also when we received our BFP. We have a great relationship and she was incredibly supportive. Pregnancy is like a marathon as opposed to a sprint, so do whatever you need to do to get to the finish line! All the best xx

@gorgeousgeorge, i just wanted to say that I hope Vivi had the happiest first birthday and that i am glad that everything is going well for you with your pregnancy. I love reading your posts and my gosh did I laugh when I read "I couldnt care less if the obs wanted to have a consensual affair with some other married woman patient of his...although there was a fleeting moment when i felt slightly insulted that he never tried to crack on to me coz he obviously doesn't mind heavily pregnant chickies. 🤣"!! Did you receive your Nipt test results? If so hope all went well. Best of luck with everything! Xx

Ah, I can see what the story is now.... Today is reporting that there’s a call to stop people using super to fund IVF and weight loss surgery.

Yes, it did seem rather urgent to talk about it at once yesterday...

@Phia or should i say detective phia, good sluething mate. Ive read government has been cracking down on supercare. I actually had someone from centrelink ring me ages ago wanting me to confirm for them if supercare had asked for my 'mygov' info. I refused to tell them anything. Lol you know somethings not right when centrelink ring you instead of you wandering through numeric options and waiting on hold for an hour before transferring you then cutting you off.
