We go to Embryolab in Thessaloniki
I’m doing PGS as we didn’t fall after 3 transfers using donor eggs and DH sperm
I have down over 20transfers with my own eggs which could never get to day 5 transfer only day 3
So doing PGS so that we can see if there is something going on with hubby sperm hence the half half scenario that way we have the option to just move ahead with full donor and keep our options open and if that doesn’t work well we are done as the other thing left would be my uterus

@LeeLee1980 my heart goes out to you. Thank you for the clarification might look in to this for our next trip to Greece. I never had the opportunity to any transfers with my own eggs as they were unable to extract any. So we went for donor eggs after trying around 10 ivf cycles we gave up and went with DE. After 2 failed implantations now wondering what to do. Hoping one day it will be our turn.. sooner the better

@stacey10 that’s great news - PUPO! good to hear you’ve had a good experience. Yes a very full bladder makes for a painful bladder - it’s a fine line! Glad you had good support too. I’d read good things but didn’t know for sure. Time to relax and when do you fly home? Fingers crossed!

@Pia I’m back in Athens on Sunday and leave for home on Wednesday, currently driving myself nuts trying to work out how good the actual embryos are from the photos I got given

Yes Dr Saba has been wonderful. I’m booked in to do a hysteroscopy, D&C, laparoscopy, dye test etc on 6 Dec. really hopeful that this will help increase our chances of falling pregnant. Dr Nikos has also sent me a list of blood tests we need to do if we are going down the DE route next year. Very excited for this year to be over.. this year has been such an emotional roller coaster. Going to an uncle’s funeral in a couple of hours too

Sorry to hear about your Uncle’s passing.

Dr Saba sounds very thorough and you’re definitely throwing the kitchen sink at it, so I reckon by the time you head over you’ll have every chance.

It’s funny how some years you just wish away - that was def 2016 for me.

I hear ya! I’ve never been able to tell from photos! If I was in Athens, I’d hit up the local zaharoplasteio (sweet shop) grab a Greek coffee and an Ek Mek. Delicious! Have a safe flight!

Has anyone got a box of clexane they can photograph and post please? I need to get my gp to write me a prescription as i have run out but I can't remember the dose that dr m prescribed.

Hi everyone! We are currently in Athens now! Today we found out we have 8 eggs fertilised using donor eggs and husbands sperm.

It’s such a roller coaster but I feel very positive! Happy to answer any questions anyone may have... I will try and help! Dr N is amazing and so warm!
