While it wasn’t the answer, it distracted me long enough to get back on two feet. This is the place you find yourself in, but it’s not forever.

Your heart is full of love, you’re just in pain now for having something so precious to you being taken away. Just know that there are more opportunities in front of you. This is awful but it’s not the end. Right now it’s time to feel the pain, the sadness, the emptiness, to ask why why why! a thousand times. Even for one day. Don’t deny your heart a chance to be upset.

The sun will rise to a day that is better for you, I promise. One step and a time, one day at a time you will find your strength. And there’s plenty of it inside.
You know how I know? Because look at how far you’ve come! There are thousands of women behind you, who haven’t been able to do it - never even knew about donor - but you’re here, you’re informing yourself, you’re seeing all the right specialists, flying around the world! You did that. No one else. You woke up every morning and went Flip it, I can do this. And that side of you is still there waiting it’s turn to pop out again and dust you off and get back there.
And you will get there. Big hugs lady.
    Sometimes it’s just c-rap. *squishyhug*
    Well said @Phia!!

Thanks @Moc24 for thinking of me. I’ve just had my first intralipids fusion today with Dr Saba. My blood tests results came back and he has said hubby and I both have Ureaplasma infection so we both have to have a course of antibiotics. I’ve got the MTHFR gene so I’m on Methylfolate instead of folic acid. I’ve got certain immune cells that are t balance which is why he’s started me on Intralipids. Hubby goes in to see Dr Saba on Friday so that he can get tested too. Fingers crossed all goes well.
@Phia your girls are just gorgeous . @AussieKoukla welcome the girls here are wonderful and are a fountain of knowledge @Mrsl73 I hope you’re resting and going well with your pregnancy. Will be praying that everything goes well for you. Have been following your journey @hopeful39 I’m so sorry to hear this. I’m glad to hear that you remain positive and will be moving forward with your next plan. @gorgeousgeorge how are you going? Hope you’re keeping well and doing well. Thinking of all you ladies xx
So glad you have some answers. I think this is one of the few times we are happy to hear that a dr has found something in the test results!!

I've never felt such shared joy, hope and heartbreak for women that I have never met before! I have so much respect and positive feelings towards all of you, thank you. I feel so grateful to have found you all and I already feel so supported even though this is my first post! Since finding this thread I have been able to (slowly and reluctanly) let go of the dream of using my OE and I have found hope again at the thought of finding our rainbow baby via DE. I never even considered this but here I am, having skyped with Dr NK on the weekend (he was just as amazing and warm as everyone has previously mentioned, even hubby was impressed and I know he was super skeptical when I fist told him about this!) and I am filled with the possibility of joy and trying to figure out a way to get to Embryoland to find our baby. Some background info on us - we are both 40, we have 2 beautiful girls concieved naturally (5 and 3) but we have been trying for 2 years for a third child to complete our family. I've had 4 failed IUIs, 3 rounds of IVF, only ever had one embryo transferred and recently fluked a natural pregnancy only to find out at 13weeks that there was no heart beat. (I had the D&C at end of May) We tried one more round of IVF and got 5 eggs that all expired on day 1. So here we are looking at DE. I see Dr NL in Melbourne and he suggested the DE route (that's how I found this forum - I was going to go where he suggested but after reading everyone's experiences and doing some research I feel like Embryoland is where I need to be). Both NL and NK seem to think 'my oven' is fine and haven't suggested doing any further testing for NKC or immumity issues etc- I guess I'm looking for thoughts on this? Should I do that testing anyways? Also, for practical reasons we are looking at sending hubby there first for a quick trip, then freezing the embryos (fingers crossed we get some good ones) and then I will go over for FET as soon as I can arrange. Does anyone have any thoughts/advice on this - if you've gone over (alone) for a quick FET how long were you there? Did you just have a scan to check lining early in cycle and then be in Greece by day 10 of your cycle? NK didn't say to be on the pill or anything, he just said day 1 start progynova and then come over - I am worried about getting there and my body not being ready - or is that what the progynova does?? Sorry for the loooooong post, I am getting carried away with excitment and apprehension!
A belated welcome @Elsielee! So very sorry for your loss at 13 weeks. It's a terrible thing to be full of hope and feel as though everything is going well only to find there's no heartbeat. Glad that you've found this thread though. I discovered it the same way. I saw DrNL too and he told me the same thing - good oven, problem with the produce and recommended DE via another clinic. One google search later and i found bubhub! After all my reading, i felt that Embryoland was the clinic for me too! So i followed my gut and have no regrets.

DrNL tested me for immune issues but didn't find anything. After my first failed DE attempt, I decided to seek a second opinion from DrM. I had elevated ANA and the TCells were low which meant that although i didn't have any autoimmune disease, my immune system was on constant 'alert' and essentially saw the embryos as a threat. My second attempt was a FET and my successful transfer!! I will be 28 weeks on Monday.

Best of luck with everything! X

@Notalone it’s because I’m a fossil a requirement if the ministry of health that I have to see a cardiologist for an ecg and ultrasound of the heart, the he writes ups a report, then you have to go to a gp and have a physical to make sure your fit for pregnancy, he writes up a report and if you pass your good to go, so then off to the clinic and away you go. They then have to submit all the info and all your blood test results to the ministry, and about a month later they get a letter saying ok, but you’ve already had transfer by then lol. Clinic was amazing @Phia, everyone was so friendly and my coordinator stayed with me the whole time, in zlin I saw her for about 10 min and the second time she wasn’t even in on the day of transfer. The transfer itself was uncomfortable for some reason, didn’t hurt but a lot of clenching teeth and toe curling lol, I didn’t feel my transfers at zlin, so not sure why, but it all went smoothly and had acu afterwards, filled 3 bedpans with wee maybe that’s why lol but they said dr wanted bladder really full he managed to put embryos away from the calcifications, I know That they move around but at least they started off in the right place. They hadn’t started to hatch but dr was pleased with them, I managed to get photos of them but I’m only used to seeing hatching or fully hatched ones so not really sure what I’m looking at in regards to how good/bad they look. So I might have to wait an extra day or two before I start testing

Oh wow! It's quite an involved process. I am fascinated to learn about the differences in process between countries as well as different clinics within the same country! Best of luck with everything! Xx

Yes Dr Saba has been wonderful. I’m booked in to do a hysteroscopy, D&C, laparoscopy, dye test etc on 6 Dec. really hopeful that this will help increase our chances of falling pregnant. Dr Nikos has also sent me a list of blood tests we need to do if we are going down the DE route next year. Very excited for this year to be over.. this year has been such an emotional roller coaster. Going to an uncle’s funeral in a couple of hours too
