Default When did you get your period back after birth?

I dont breastfeed and after my other pregnancies I always got my cycle back by 6 weeks. It has just gone 8 weeks now and absolutely no sign of AF which is unusual for me.
There is 100% no chance I am pregnant again.

I am kind of stressing because I am 45 and I just read this story about a woman who went straight from her last pregnancy to menopause!

When did your cycle return to normal?

I did breastfeed for 11ish months with both my boys and my period came back 2-3 weeks after I weaned. After my first I fell pregnant again straight away but this time it has gone back to clockwork, more regular than ever. I'm 31. Not sure if that is relevant for your situation but thought I may as well answer and others may see your thread

I mix fed both boys due to low supply.

Ds1 - bf 4.5 months, pumped till 6. Af returned 4.5 months. I used the mini pill.

Ds2 - bf still at 3y 8m (weaning as I'm also 11weeks pregnant). Af returned at 31 months pp. I used implanon until may.

DS1 - Period returned 8 months PP. It was after giving him a day's worth of bottles at 7m PP as I had to be hospitalised due to illness. No contraception. We weren't careful once he turned one and I fell pregnant when he was 3 years exactly. He was breastfed up until 3 years.

DS2 - Period returned 4 months PP. We mix feed due to problems with supply. I'm hoping to feed well into the toddler years again. No contraception again and hoping for another bub.

At 4.5 months after mix feeding both of my babies (predominately breastfed but it wasn't enough to keep AF at bay).

I got my period back nearly 3 months after I stopped breastfeeding DD at 15 months.
Slightly different with my DS - I got them back when he was around 5.5 months.

18 months and still no period. But I’m still breastfeeding and have implanon so could be influenced by either of those things.
