    Default Egg Donation Greece #14

Went to see our Oz FS yesterday. Both he and Dr N want to do a "natural" couple of cycles to see what my lining is when I ovulate without any medication. Depending on that result, then another hysteroscopy and then they're saying try just once more. But it's all depending on my lining as they think that's the main issue. If it isn't ok after the fake cycle then they're saying the chance of me carrying is next to nothing, not even with change of meds from Dr M. Deep down I am coming to terms with the fact that is probably the case. Realistically after 4 times in Greece with no success we may have to give up hope.
If I don't post in here much at the moment, please understand it is brutally hard to see so many good results from people going the first time and having success, while we are in this hole we can't crawl out of. It is really unfair.
@GoingGreek2018 Sorry to hear you're bleeding but hang in there. Your levels are good and bleeding isn't necessarily a bad sign. Thinking of you. @Mrsl73 Thinking of you always and what you've been through. Zoe will always be your bright star throughout your lives. Thank you also for your message.
I’m so sorry @Juventina what d v stating news. Hopefully your lining will behave and do what it is supposed to. Can I ask what the problem is with it? Is it just thin as mine was terrible. Have you tried intralipids and viagra pessaries? These made a huge difference to my lining.

@Juventina forgive me if you have already said, but have you had the era testing done at all, I can’t remember if I’ve already asked

@Mrsl73 I have not posted on bub hub for quite some time but I really wanted to respond to your post. When I read your post, I cried. I felt like you had expressed exactly how I feel. Like you I suffered a devastating loss at 20 weeks last September following my second cycle in Greece. I struggled with my birthday and I’m apprehensive about my son’s anniversary. It’s so hard to be stuck between grief and trying to have hope that it could work again. I am looking to go back in October but feel the weight of the outcome…..is heavy.

@Juventina, thought you had but just thought I’d ask again, have you tried the estrogen patches as well, I know a lady who took estrogen orally, vaginally plus the patches also, maybe an option? Have also heard good things about viagra, hopefully you can need to find the magic combination, or you get a better lining with a natural cycle

Yep have been on them the last 2 times also. When I say I’ve done every test possible and every lot of medication I’m not joking! My doctors all warned me of possible chances of stroke due to the amount of meds they had me on this time (26 pills orally a day, patches, pessaries, clexane, progesterone pessaries and injections plus the vitamins and other stuff from Dr M)

@Juventina does your FS have expertise specifically with rif?

Is sequential embryo transfer something they've looked at? It appears to increase success for patients with rif. It's where they transfer two high quality embryos but on different days.
