Default Skin care - chat thread

I'm a little obsessed with skin care products right now, so I thought it might be worth starting a thread to chatter about what products we like and to help each other by asking for recommendations.

    I'll start...

Products I'm using right now and I would recommend:

Sukin - facial moisturiser & foaming cleanser
    Pixi glow tonic/rose flash balm/peel & polish
    Nip + Fab glycolic wipes
Paris Hilton Unicorn Mist (rose scented moisture mist)
The Ordinary Virgin Marula Oil (used at night)
    Lush coffee facial scrub

Products I'm in the market for:

An eye treatment - perhaps a serum (?)

Brands I'm keen to try next:

    Jurlique
    Kielhl's

I love the Sukin cleanser too

I have been using Nerium Day cream and Night cream for 8 months now and absolutely love it. The longer you use it the less you have to use over time so it goes a long way once you've used it for a few months. I took before and after photos and you can see the difference. I don't feel so tired around the eyes as I used to as well.
Nerium do have a serum but I don't feel I need that so haven't tried it.

I’m currently obsessed with The Ordinary - nothing extravagant but kind of fun to put on with droppers

I really want to try this eye cream but can’t justify the price tag..

I’m using ASAP eye products at the moment.

Try the Redermic R eye and face creams by La Roche Posay. I've noticed a massive difference since using them.

    Mask

I have used the cleanser for ages. It cleans well but is good for dry skin.

The exfoliants I use every 2nd day. And I alternate.

    Pixi spray is nice.

The serum is really good - do not love the smell so will probably buy a different one when it is done.

Eye cream is nice. Doesn't burn which is good (I have had issues with reactions previously).

Moisturiser is good. Basic but really good.

The oil I add at night.

I love my Arbonne anti-ageing skin care routine.
    Cleanser
    Toner
    Serum
    Eye serum
    Moisturiser

I love that when I haven’t used it for a while (its expensive and I’ve had to pay full daycare fees for a few months so no luxuries) I can feel the Ph levels in my skin neutralising again. My friends always comment that I’m lucky because I don’t have any wrinkles and I just insist this is why. (Honestly I know any good skin care routine would do the same- but stick to what you know!)

    I use skinstitut.

They have a huge range. I use their cleanser and moisturiser and they have this awesome repair balm.

They have a load of other products too. Best of all they are Australian made and owned and no animal testing

I used to use mainly dermologica. Their stuff is good. I ran out one day and used Gaia baby wash/shampoo to wash my face and it was excellent. So just use that now. $12 per 500ml instead of ~$70. I still use a dermologica mask once every week or two.

Thought of this thread when I saw this. It's been written by a well reknown Sydney Dermatologist.

I feel like you’re all so grown up. I use cetaphil cleanser and cetaphil moisturizer and that’s it in fairness to me I have tried a few salon brands with 4-5 products as part of the regime and they made no difference to my acne, whereas cetaphil did.
