@Everlong it's terrible isn't it? Just swapping one set of worries for another. I had an ob appointment this morning and he did a scan. It didn't look to me like the baby was moving at first. Even though it was moving this morning I was so anxious. And the ob was chatting about something and not looking at the screen and I am trying to listen but glued to the screen willing the baby to move or for the ob to check the heartbeat! Baby was fine as usual, just trying to turn me grey...

@possanda how did you go at hospital this week? Do you have a new delivery date? Hope you're going well.

    @buffysatine

They decided that little miss is happy, my blood pressure is great and my diabetes is under control so they will not induce at all.....!!! They understand how much pain I’m in but don’t want to risk a uterine rupture by starting too soon.
So I’m 36 weeks and at 38 weeks we will do a stretch and sweep trying to get things moving slowly.

I was disappointed at the start but think it’s for the best to let my body try and do its thing naturally.

@possanda sorry youre in so much pain. As long as you're happy with the plan & your care that's whats most important.

We're having our baby shower on Sunday so today we were picking up the cake & balloons, we're having a lunch so all our friends can come instead of a girls only thingy. Baby still moving a lot so no more scares thank goodness. Hope he keeps it up for the next 8 weeks, don't think my heart could handle another scare like last week.

    Default IVF Babies due July/August/September 2018! #2

Went for a diabetes midwife check up today only to start having contractions in the waiting room.... that was at 12pm.. I was 1cm dilated at about 4pm with irregular contractions.

Moved up to a ward only to have them completely die off.

I guess the waiting game continues....
It’s 10pm and I’m waiting to be discharged so I can go home to sleep.

Hope the baby shower went well!!

@possanda are you home now? Lucky you were at hospital, is everything all ok with you both?
The shower was fantastic, we had a lovely lunch with 30 of our friends & family. My brother flew up from Melbourne for it. We were spoiled with lovely presents for the little guy.

    Just a rant/whine post....

Yesterday I had another 6 hours of contractions ( helped my son with homework and cooked dinner) they were super nasty and the tightening went on at one point for about 10 mins no break. Tried a hot shower with pain killers and nothing eased it.
Dinner made me feel like throwing up and the only thing I seem to be able to eat is fruit/tea/oats .
Everything aches and little miss is so far into my pelvis walking hurts.
But then I lay down and all contractions (but the back ache) go away. I have read about something called latent labor but this is just so tiring, when I’m not in pain I’m asleep.
My feet are now swollen, my hands look like man hands and I have a headache / emotional....

    Anyway that’s me..
