Further to @Mod-Degrassi’s advice about finding out your body shape, once I did that I started a Pinterest board with all the advice and pictures on how to best dress your shape. It has been so helpful in remembering and reminding me what I’m looking for when I shop.

Maybe we need to put a splurge warning in our posts.

Just checked, they do zip pay - same kind of thing?

I've never done afterpay or zip pay, even though I'm a regular online shopper.

It's okay. I'm being light hearted, but my clothing budget is nowhere near those prices!

I know you were, others might not be! My favourite basics are from target, jeans I’ve worn for over 3 years.

I’m happy to splurge on good quality statement items, and save on basics. I shop A LOT at target, Kmart if I’m feeling like a bit of a gamble, etc.
But last night I was looking on birdsnest and found a cute cardi, and what do you know- $250 . Couldn’t close my browser fast enough!

Ok I have a want to buy- I’m looking for a white, lightweight sleeveless long blouse. Know what I mean? Kind of like this IMG_1761.jpg
But without the ridiculous price tag. Not fussed about the collar, and don’t care if it has buttons down the front or not. I’ve bought two so far and both have been too tight across my boobs.

I have this one from Birdsnest
    https://www.birdsnest.com.au/brands/...ers-tank#WhiteIMG_1931.jpg

It is okay over my biggish boobs.
I also bought some Frankie 4’s in the sale, actually 2 pairs! Mine have already arrived though, I got these in both black and silverIMG_1932.jpg

Ooh this is my kind of thread! I have never been into fashion, what’s in and what’s not- I’ve always just worn what I felt comfortable in (and looking back, wonder why on earth my mother didn’t talk sense into me at times!). Then kids happened and I cared even less- hello $2 Kmart thongs and anything that wasn’t covered in baby puke/was clean/hid my mum tum. Now though, with dd1 being so into fashion and turning 30, I’ve decided to put a bit more effort in to my personal appearance. Not because it’s what’s “expected” of me (general society speaking), but because I am so over feeling and looking like a frumpy housewife. I want to feel young(ish) and nice again.

My go to style atm is fitted jeans/jeggings, oversized shirts (the trendy kind, not the “I stole my husband’s shirt kind) and volley style sand shoes. Comfy AND stylish *nods*. Also loving the long light cardi’s and 3/4 denim dresses in Kmart at the moment! I only ever shop at Kmart- with the exception of Just Jeans for, well, jeans!).

I like that one, but my tummy doesn’t. I definitely can’t do short hem at the front- I have a bit of a “mum apron”
