Also, has anyone else had issues with low blood pressure from prednisone? I’ve been using it on and off for 14 ivf cycles and two pregnancies (1st pregnancy I took it until 2nd trimester, currently in second pregnancy) over 4 years.
I’m 30 weeks now and had weaned off a few weeks ago but my low blood pressure/light headedness went from being a frustrating intermittent problem which I’ve experienced all pregnancy, to a constant debilitating problem where I was essentially on bed rest. I’ve now gone back on it under my OBs instruction and the low blood pressure is becoming less of a constant problem. But it concerns me that I may have developed a reliance or something similar on it. Has anyone else experienced the same?

34 weeks is a pretty standard time to stop. In some circumstances stopping can bring labour forward within about two weeks, so stopping at 34 weeks is seen as a good compromise between whatever the reason you're on it in the first place, and getting to at least 36 weeks when it's much safer for labour to happen.

Hi ladies
I’m an old time member and ready to start ttc again in the coming months. My concern is taking pred during this covid pandemic. Has anyone been given advice regarding this and how it’ll affect their immune system ect from dr m or other specialist?

Hi ladies:
I’m in the middle of my first ivf. Day 4 stims atm.
I have an appointment with Dr M in September incase I have failed cycles.
Just wondering if GP can request the immunology reproductive tests? Anyone has a list about the tests in case my GP has no clue of what I’m asking?
How much will that costs?
Thanks in advance if I can get any help here.
Good luck to all my ttc sisters

Hi Everyone!
I’ve never posted on a forum before but looking for a bit of advice and assurance.
I’m 31 and my husband 33. I’ve been through two IVF cycles with the following results:
First cycle
- 4 eggs collected
- 100% fertilisation
- 1 blast transferred (BFP, MMC 7 weeks, chromosomally normal baby girl)
- 1 day 6 blast frozen
Second Cycle (Higher dose of GonalF which I think compromised my egg quality)
- 4 eggs collected
- 100% fertilisation
- 1 compacting morula transfered (BFP, chemical pregnancy, bled at 5.5 weeks)
- 1 day 6 blast frozen
I’ve also had two FET with negative betas.
My acupuncturist told me about Dr MAtthias so I booked an appointment with him. Over 3 appointments with him, we’ve done several blood tests and a biopsy. Dr M found the following:
- ANA positive (1:80)
- Slightly high killer cells (not sure which one)
- Partial HLA match
My husband REALLY wants to try naturally (Since no doc has been able to tell us why we can’t fall preg) so we’ll try naturally for 3 months on the following protocol that Dr M put me on:
- letrezole day 2-4 (I already ovulate with a 28 day cycle but I guess this is just to get really precise with timing)
- dexmethasone day 15-25
- prometrium day 15-27
- intralipids
- LIT therapy
Has anyone had success naturally with such a protocol?
Also (not sure if it’s the right thread) but what’s everyone’s opinion on Dr Alison Gee? I’m thinking of changing FS to her if we need it.
So so so so grateful for any response. I hope everyone on here ends this journey with a beautiful baby in their arms!
So many good vibes to you all xox

Hello ladies
I hope everyone is doing ok.
I was wondering if anyone knows whether Dr Kee Ong on the Gold Coast does intralipids?
Thank you
