Also, has anyone else had issues with low blood pressure from prednisone? I’ve been using it on and off for 14 ivf cycles and two pregnancies (1st pregnancy I took it until 2nd trimester, currently in second pregnancy) over 4 years.

I’m 30 weeks now and had weaned off a few weeks ago but my low blood pressure/light headedness went from being a frustrating intermittent problem which I’ve experienced all pregnancy, to a constant debilitating problem where I was essentially on bed rest. I’ve now gone back on it under my OBs instruction and the low blood pressure is becoming less of a constant problem. But it concerns me that I may have developed a reliance or something similar on it. Has anyone else experienced the same?

34 weeks is a pretty standard time to stop. In some circumstances stopping can bring labour forward within about two weeks, so stopping at 34 weeks is seen as a good compromise between whatever the reason you're on it in the first place, and getting to at least 36 weeks when it's much safer for labour to happen.

He had me on progesterone in oil injections until 32 weeks and planned for me to be on pessaries right until the end. I had bub at 34 weeks and was still using pessaries at that point.

    Hi ladies

I’m an old time member and ready to start ttc again in the coming months. My concern is taking pred during this covid pandemic. Has anyone been given advice regarding this and how it’ll affect their immune system ect from dr m or other specialist?

    Hi ladies:

I’m in the middle of my first ivf. Day 4 stims atm.

I have an appointment with Dr M in September incase I have failed cycles.

Just wondering if GP can request the immunology reproductive tests? Anyone has a list about the tests in case my GP has no clue of what I’m asking?
    How much will that costs?

Thanks in advance if I can get any help here.

Good luck to all my ttc sisters
