Default Ttc - gender swaying for a girl?

The shettles method has been debunked. I read a book that referenced a study about timing, saying 90% of the people who tried using this method got a girl. I think it was about 400 babies. I was going to try it last time but accidentally fell pregnant. We DTD 6 days before ovulation and got a boy (shettles would say girl!)

This method says to DTD on the day of ovulation, so day after you get a surge on an ovulation test. The theory is that female embryos are stronger, so if the egg is older (rather than being fertilised early) and female it is more likely to survive implantation and male embryos that are weaker will be more likely to not survive. A woman with five boys desperately wanting a girl got her girl that way in the book. The book also said there’s some research into calcium and magnesium supplements helping, and that there’s no way to try for a boy.

The book is “The Impatient Woman’s Guide to Getting Pregnant” and has lots of good info for everything, gender swaying is a small chapter of the book.

That’s the shettles method and has been debunked. Personally, my boy was conceived from DTD 6 days before O.

We have a boy first, then three girls.
I heard lots of sex results in boy, thats how we might have gotten our suprise boy.
My diet has always been the same or similar. I always had a sweet tooth but i m pretty skinny.
I think we still dtd a lot, but not as much as we did when we were kid free and younger.
We are pregnant again, 5 days before o, and other symptoms make me believe its a girl again.
    We didnt try and sway.
