I am at the airport - early. Waiting to pick up a new employee who starts with us tomorrow. I checked arrival times before I got out of bed and the flight was on time. Now I’m here it’s 20 minutes late. I only live 5 minutes from the airport!

    Default I am...#22

    Confused...

Good news about the missing 7yo found safe and well this morning after staying overnight at a friends house.

However I don’t understand why you’d let a kid -especially at such a young age- stay overnight at your place without checking or speaking with the parents first?!?

It’s odd isn’t it. If any child rocked up at my place I would be checking their parents knew where they were regardless of what the kid said.

I am feeling so proud, My step grandson, has chosen to become an Australian, and has also now changed his name to our family name. He was born in America, with a Columbian father, and Japanese mother( my beautiful daughter-in-law). He is such a wonderful 18 year old young man. marie.

    Hi Granny!

I'm getting there, back at work but still waiting on clearance for some stuff. I'm still trying to build all the muscle up, it feels like it will take forever.

Trying to work out what I want to do for my birthday on Saturday. Once I've taken DD to her jazz class in the morning, I have no plans, or ideas of what I'd like to do. There's no sport I can watch on the day. There's nothing on at the cinema I'm particularly interested in seeing. It's DH's birthday on Thursday, so we'll be going out for lunch on Friday while DD is at childcare for a joint "celebration"; but I have no plans for my own day.

Do you like massages ? Facials? What about a mani/pedi?

I have considered that, but it might be a bit outside my $50 budget. Might need to do some more research. A massage or facial might be more the go, as nailpolish, nailpolish remover, and the like are potential migraine triggers for me with their powerful scents.
