    Default Baby jumpers/jumperoos etc

I'm looking for some kind of freestanding baby jumper activity station type thing. My baby is short for her age, so adjustable height is a must. There are way too many options out there, and they're all expensive so I want to get it right.

Does anyone have any recommendations, or warnings about ones to stay away from?

I don’t think any are recommended unfortunately. I think the reason behind it is that it puts the baby in situations (standing) they aren’t developmentally ready for. That by allowing them to sit, stand, jump etc through natural progression it allows for the body to develop the correct physical and cognitive attributes required to undertake the task safely.

Pretty much what has been said above. There are loads of “must have” things that aren’t actually good for babies for the reasons stated above.

We used a jumparoo. My DD is fine. She was never in it for long periods of time..... max amount of time would have been long enough for me to shower.
I’d say the dangers of using them are only when babies are in them a lot or for long periods of time. I knew the risks but was happy my decision to use it for short term only.
