    Hi love,

I did the depot injection- liked the idea of a one off. Got it from chemist warehouse for over $400 but I see someone has just said it’s now on PBS - yay!
It gave me mood swings and mild headaches for a few days. Also, best to pop into yr local Doctors and ask a nurse to administer it - its intra muscular (in your bottom) and the only YouTube tutorial I could find was in Spanish so i was terrified I’d stuffed it up.

I must’ve got it it right though as I now have two cheeky twins crawling all over my house and filling our world with love and happy squeals.

Best of luck to you! X

Hey, i just took mine this past Monday, am prepping for my FET in about 3 weeks times. I only felt it for a few minutes after injecting it, but afterwards NOTHING. But then again i hardly get any side effects from medications, i guess i am lucky.

@Imbusi 1 if your in the uk you will have lots of cheap options for the depot, you can get prostap from fertility2u for about £110 anything you get just make sure it’s 3.75, your local asda May also stock it, either way it’s a lot cheaper than what we can get it here

How is everyone going ? Anyone heading to CT soon ?

How are the recent BFP's going ? What about the BFN's ? How is everyone holding up, no matter which group you are in ?

Just a little aside ..... Mothers Day is coming up in a few weeks and I was talking to someone about how to deal with first Mothers day without a mum which reminded me about mum's who have lost their bubs or are waiting for their bubs to come into their lives. Everyone here probably falls into one of those categories, so I just wanted to raise it early so everyone can have a think about how they are going to deal with the day. How can you make it a good day ? How can you celebrate those mums n'bubs not with us ? How can you handle feeling crap that day ?

I have been in all categories and for me at least, I know that I need to have a plan for Mothers Day (and a few other days through the year) so I hope thinking about it beforehand is helpful to everyone else too.

@Cathy69 I love how thoughtful you are. This will be my first time as a mum, and I’m conscious of all the friends I’ve got who still haven’t had Fertility success. I’ve been looking forward to my first Mother’s Day for years, but I don’t think I will be able to shake that sad feeling for all those still waiting.

@midnite01 I'm so glad to hear bub is growing beautifully. My ED's sister has become a donor too and I contemplated egg banking as well.
