    I started on the 26th of November. The way I do it is on the fast day, nothing until about 2ish id I can - delay delay as much as possible is the key. If I can’t, I have a miso soup (Hakari brand from woolies) and that’s 25 calories. Then to make it easy I have a superfoods meal (I’m a pescatarian) a vege one which is 300 calories. Then I’ll have a skim fw which is about 50 calories. And then whatever calories I have left I might have something like a bit of fruit. Those days aren’t easy but I just say to myself- I’ll eat it tomorrow! The best part is that I don’t have to deprive myself of anything on the other five days. I try not to go crazy on those days though. As long as I’m strict on Mon and Thursday’s. I’ve stopped having extravagant brunches, eggs, toast, the works on a weekend because I was just eating so much and it was just brunch! My portions were out of wack. So eating just less but still having cake and stuff this totally realistic for me. I actually look forward to my fast days cuz it’s like a break for my system - and I know it’s just one day.
    Your diet sounds great- super healthy.. I wonder why no yoghurt.

    The only way to lose weight is to spend more calories than to receive. Active workouts can help you and eat delicious and not get fat.

    I read “The obesity code”. It made a lot of sense to me and since I’ve cut sugar and refined carbs from my diet, I’ve lost over 10kg in 4 months. I have dabbled with 24 to 36 hour fasts about once a fortnight. I also watched “that sugar movie” and joined “the natural transformer” online.
    I have not exercised much at all due to time constraints, but I’m about to start weight training again. At nearly 49 years of age, I’m aiming to improve my fitness and hopefully extend my useful lifespan (must outlive the ex.......) 🤪

    Guess what?!
    My fitness Mojo is FINALLY BACK!
    OMG I can't believe how long it took. My youngest was 3 in December, and I've been a sloth since he was born, completely unable to get my eating under control and only doing a standard amount of exercise.
    Well, a few weeks ago, my boss saw me eating chocolate for afternoon tea. He said "Chocolate for afternoon tea hey! What happened to all those gym challenges you used to do?" Then.... when I got home from work.... my gym posted about an 8 week challenge that was starting a few days later. I took that as a sign!
    So I signed up, and it was like magic. That motivation and willpower I had struggled with for 3 years just came back! I've had literally no issue eating well and fitting in plenty of exercise.
    I've gone from 82kg to 76.8kg in 2.5 weeks
    My goal for the challenge is 65kg and my overall goal is 60kg.
    I'm exercising 6 days per week. I've also cut sugar and all refined and starchy carbs out of my life completely, and I'm fasting for 16 hours every day. So I stop eating at 4pm and don't have anything but water until 8am the next day.

    i have been waiting for this tread to resurface. great work Cazhazkidz. I have join my local gym and i am back to going 5 days a week. I don't seem to be moving much weight, but I know that will happen. marie.

    Ladies I’ve been on 5:2 and lost 15kgs. It’s slowing down now and getting harder shedding the last 6-7kgs but it works!

    I have been going to the gym mostly five days a week. I am not seeing much weight loss, but I still feel so much better with the regular exercise. marie.

    How has it gone for the fasters? Has weight stayed off and is the diet ok to maintain?
    Looking at doing the Fast 800 post- breastfeeding.

    It’s an easy diet to do. I’ve been struggling to lose weight, I think because I didn’t have much to shift (wanting to go from 63 to 57 kg). Am now halfway at 60kg so pretty happy.
