    Default Logo for new company

Hi everyone. We are setting up a company and need a logo. Looking for suggestions. We want the logo versatile - so we can use this as an email signature, on business cards, shirts and caps, Facebook page etc etc etc.

I know nothing about logo design. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Local companies charge a fortune but eBay can do logo for $20-30 however I presume it wouldn’t be versatile.

Appreciate any advice, thank you x

My suggestion? Get it done professionally. We are both creative people and DH can do things like that so did ours ourself and thought it was great. We then got a pro in later for some advertising and as part of that, she re-did the logo to make it fit better. What she came up with is so much better. Still based around our original idea, but less fussy and cleaner looking.

agreed. it’s your logo, this is the first point of contact most people will have visually with your business. surely that’s got to be worth more than $30?

dh is a designer and gets really annoyed when people skimp on logo, visual identity etc. i get not everyone has thousands to blow on this sort of thing, but you should be able to get something reasonable and versatile for under $1k.

If you get it done professionally they will also be able to make sure it's a good resolution for all the forms of signage you use.

Its not only about the image, you have to make sure that you have the rights to that logo, it can be somewhat a legal process especially if your logo is close to someone elses and theyre not happy about that.
    Websites: Ip Australia
    Copy right australia
Then you'll have to pay for the right to that image, obviously it will go with business name etc.
