My eldest son used to watch the first and second ones on repeat. Then his brother who is 9 years younger was obsessed with the 3 movies from toddlerhood.
Now my 5 yr old daughter who I’m taking for testing in the new year has taken to watching them on repeat. Not copied behaviour because both sons now won’t even watch any movies!

Both boys also love spongebob and I’ve read that a lot of asd kids love spongebob too.
So I was wondering if toy story is one of those type of movies they gravitate toward.
No my kids don't like it!!!

Both my boys were obsessed with it at one stage or another. There was a point where all 3 movies were played back to back for a solid 6 months. Until DS2 got interested in Cars. He has been in out of the Cars movies now for a couple of years... Not sure how much of Mater repeating the same lines over and over I can take.

Yes, my DS loves Toy Story movies and has a number of the toys etc. He was obsessed with Cars and Cars 2 for a good while too.

Funny you mention Spongebob - DS watched it for the first time on the weekend (Netflix) and he absolutely loves it!

My middle son he’s almost 11, has been cycling between several character obsessions for about 8 years! Cars is also one.
The one he loves the most though is Sonic the hedgehog. He knows everything there is to know about that!

DD has never really liked Toy Story. Lion King played on repeat for a long time. Now it's pokemon and power rangers. She's not really one to re-watch things now though - just cycles through the series. I'm not sure we've even seen spongebob. How to Train your Dragon series was a hit recently.

DD got back from her first school camp yesterday. Lots of fun was had! She's exhausted and sick with a cold now so lots of down time this weekend to aid recovery.
