Post Did your successive labours halve in time?

I know anything is possible and nothing is written in stone, but it's just in my mind and I love to hear about labours!

I also know this topic has well and truly been covered!

My first labour was 7 hours, second was 3.5 hours and I am pregnant with our third. We are half an hours drive from the hospital and I am going to put some towels and blankets in the car juuuust in case! Then I will probably end up having a two day labour

So what was it like for you?

From first contraction to completion (including placenta)...
    #1 - 4 hours
    # 2 - 1 hr 15 mins
    #3 - 30 mins
    #4 - 55 mins

Mine were all ‘quick’ as far as labours go... the last 3 were induced though, luckily, because I wouldnt have made hospital if not (I live rurally).

I remember my midwife telling me that third babies can be tricky labours. My third labour was my longest by several hours. It wasn't a bad labour at all, just long and drawn out. I wouldn't stress. If your labour comes on really fast you're better off just having the baby at home and calling an ambulance, rather than being on the road.
