Default what are you doing for christmas?

DS & I are going to have a rare treat of fish and chips on the beach - hopefully DS will actually eat some. Boxing Day was going to be at my parents with my brother's family as well but my dad is in hospital (has been for most of the past 3 weeks) and it is looking increasingly like he isn't going to be discharged before Christmas so at this stage not sure when we will be catching up with family.

We are spending it with my family. I haven’t had Christmas with them for 4-5 years since my parents moved interstate. Will be good to spend DDs first Christmas with my folks, my Nanna (my last remaining grandparent), my sister and BIL and my nephew. Might try and catch up with Fred and Mary while they’re in town . Also looking forward to watching the boats come in. Oh, and a cooler Christmas!!!

You are copying our Christmas. The folks, sister, BIL, nephew and DDs only great grandparent.

Mary and Fred have already said they will coming to play Boxing Day cricket with us.

Well this year I decided to take matters into my own hands, I have asked some friends and a couple of other single parents over on Christmas day for a pot luck lunch and whatever they want to drink.
No presents of more than $10
My girlfriend and younger bro are staying Christmas eve, my parents are coming for dinner on Christmas eve too.

We are just having a quiet one with DS. He is still too young to understand Christmas so we aren’t doing anything. We have had a tiring year full of catching every bug, virus and gastro going around and we live interstate from our families so quiet it is

We are going to enjoy the morning as a trio giving dd her presents and relaxing.
Then we are going to my parents for lunch with my brother his gf and her child, my aunty and cousin. I’m kind of dreading for a few reasons (dds nap time is bang on the middle of the day, brother has a new girlfriend we’ve never met, my family irritate the hell out of dd and don’t give her any space). Hoping it turns out better than I expect!

It will be just DH, DS2 & DS3 and I this year. We will be at home and it’ll be pretty quiet I expect. I’ll be missing DS1 but trying not too
