Leave the shoes at the door. You’ll find you won’t need to clean as much.

@Chmeille sadly it’s not that easy. It’s mostly the road dust that blows in that’s the problem.

I tried the Dettol mop last night. Will be good for spot cleans and cleaning DDs play area. Our tiles are awful so I could never do more than a spot clean using the Dettol mop.

Can I ask how you all vacuum at night, are your hard floor areas not near the kids’ rooms? My baby sleeps through the vacuum but I don’t think my 4yo would!

We have a 2 story townhouse. DD is upstairs with the door shut when she’s in bed.

Extremely quickly in this house. I find that as soon as everything is clean it’s dirty again. Hence I’m going to teach ds2 how to vacuum he already uses the broom

Also on another note does anyone think it’s odd a new poster is copying comments word for word

Good spot @babybeeno1 I thought all the quick posts were odd but didn’t notice the copying

@Kilara I am just curious as to why you have copied @Ahalfdozen’s post from earlier in this thread word for word (as picked up by babybeeno1)?
