she thinks it's probably to stim only and start a brand new cycle for FET so that they can manage my lining better without the stim drugs. I'm just concerned about the embryo not surviving the thawing process.

good luck with FET I hear that it has higher chance. let me know how you go as I've never had one before.
the embryologist shared that the success rate for thawing is 99%, we are in good hands

Is it silly that I reckon knowing the gender kind of strips away some of the clinical jargon of the whole process and the “embryo” becomes more my little boy/girl bean.
I was told that in Australia they can't test for the gender due to laws, so they won't know what the gender is.
I could be wrong, as I've only had 1 undergo PGS, but pretty sure that's what they told me.

If so, earliest you could know is about 11 weeks with a NIPT

Good luck with the long down reg. My first cycle was a long cycle, and resulted in DD. I didn't love doing the syneral to start the cycle, but generally didn't find it any worse than a short cycle.

thank you for the well wishes. Lynn thinks that long down reg will be the one for me so I'm putting all my eggs in the basket I read about the syneral spray and am now prepared

how are you feeling? what week are you up to now? it's really nice that you dropped by. it's been very quiet around here.

HNY! Do you remember the grade of your embryo that resulted in your daughter? I am curious to know how the grade of the embryo correspond to success rate.

    Hi!
My DD was a fresh 3dt 7 cell. Some fragmentation. No grade given.

My current pregnancy was a 5dt of a fresh embryo. 5BB I think. I'm 26 weeks at the moment.

From this last cycle we also got a frozen embryo. PGS normal. No idea on the grading though. I do know it was lagging behind the one we transferred.

Do you know what yours are?

Hoping the down reg works for you. For me based on successful vs non successful rounds, it seems I responded differently to the different drugs. Less so than the short vs long. It's so different for everyone though!

I'm going well. 26 weeks now. Getting big.
