In this crazy ride so far, I’ve had one successful pregnancy, my LO is 5 and he’s fabulous and always telling people I’m having a baby which is allll sorts of awks.. I have had two or three CM’s and a miscarriage at 6wks too and it’s rough biz all round. Amongst it I had quite a few ICSI’s cancelled because my proj was too high one month too @RubADub, then estro was too high after a break in the next month, then both too high the next allowed cycle, it’s freaking bullshizzels. The FS kept getting me to stop and start and have a month break in between eVerY single cancel and I rekon that just confused the bajesus outta my body taking so many effin drugs, so I was reeeeally glad when the doc in Prague let me go back to back for once with my donor egg embryos, and not letting my hormones get off track, so frustrating back in Oz. We’ll see if this one does the trick this time and this LO sticks! Who knows if the hormone seesawing has been the prob or not??

Anyways BT to get the HCG no’s tomorrow for me and fingers crossed for you too @rubyc, and everyone else too in getting some lines on these tests happening!!

Baby dust and Big hugs lovelies
I hope it’s good news for you too @CherryCola! I’m thinking of you thanks for keeping us updated! Xxxxxx

This provera thing seems to have really seriously messed up my cycles. Or maybe it was the clomid use? I dont know. Im going crazy with this, started what I finally thought was AF 18 days after the last provera pill, the ongoing light spotting continued days after taking the provera but finally stopped, but now, Im back to it again. It isnt AF, it is way too light, Im definitely 100% not pregnant and my BBT is low. All my blood tests came back normal. I dont know what is happening.

Hey lovely, yeah after what you went through with the ups and downs of the drug reactions hon, the stress on your body, you are going to need a big break for a month or two yeah? This is probably just remnants and things will hopefully get back on track. Hugs hon.

Thanks Im thinking it is all stress related, hoping it fixes itself. My GP however seems to have put it down to 'age" because I am 45 nearly 46. Apparently my uterine lining was a bit thick in one place or something, I wasnt listening properly. He suggested a D&C to clear it out, but I dont want to do that for a lot of reasons, so opted for the provera instead, which had bad side effects. This is all quite disconcerting really. I'd only just got my cycles back normally after having my little girl in September, now my body has decided to do something weird.

    Evening ladies.

I’ve been laying low for a while now. My cycles are all messed up, well actually my cycle has gone AWOL. The last time I had AF was mid March. Since then, no ovulation, no bleeding, just nothing.

GP prescribed Provera, which I took from the 8th ‘til the 12th Of May. Still nothing...

I’ve been really busy for the past few weeks so I’ve managed to push the sadness away. Today, though, I was at home with not much on my to-do list, and I’m feeling all the feels.
I’m so sad for lost chances of conceiving a baby that is so wanted. I’m frightened that this is it, that my baby days are over. I feel lost...

Hi, I've been wondering how you are going. I'm so sorry it's a struggle. For what it's worth, I thought I'd mention acupuncture. Have you ever thought about it/tried it? I know cost can make it prohibitive for some. A couple of years ago after several mc, my cycle went completely haywire after having been fairly predictable for decades. I was concerned it was menopause, but thought it was a bit early. I decided to try acupuncture (with a very experienced TCM practitioner who specialises in fertility issues). I'd had about 4 or 5 months of short cycles /long cycles /break-out bleeds /anovulation etc. After just one or two sessions (can't remember how many) of acupuncture, (plus, I admit, some herbs), my cycle returned to normal straight away. I was blown away.

I know it's not for everyone, so I'm not trying to push it on you. I just thought I'd mention my exp in case it strikes a cord with you. I'd never had acupuncture before, but went in with an open mind, and got recommendations on here for reputable practitioners.

Anyway, I hope you get things back on track soon, I really do. It's such a difficult time, all the waiting and wondering. All my best wishes to you x

    Hello strong women,
I know this is a very sensitive topic for all of you on your ttc journey, but I just wanted to pop in with the update to my own journey. Many of you have been so extremely supportive along the way and offered me so much kindness, and I thank you so much for that. I'm really pleased to finally be able to tell you that our precious little girl arrived safely this week. We feel very, very lucky. I am still pinching myself!

Thank you again to the wonderful women in this thread, and I wish this same joy for you all xxx

Thats such wonderful news @whiteroses! I am so so happy for you babes, WOW its been such a long road and I remember way back when for a bunch of us all lamenting, so this is just absolutely beauTIFUL to hear the good news on!!

I have some news too, its still early, but I'm expecting a boy in late November, thanks to a trip to Prague, some very clever technology not avail to us before and some donated eggs to help a bit. We got our BFP on the second go, so defo worth that trip!

Hope you're all well and keeping positive on your ttc journeys, big hugs all round!
