    Hi everyone
@jensdream My ob will always prescribe so I'm lucky. How are you going with lupron. That has been my drama today. Last year I could not get lupron. I had always got it through fertility2u but when I made enquiries last year was advised they no longer ship to Australia. So I spoke to my ob here and was advised it was called lucrin here. I questioned it last year too because it is meant for daily subcutaneous injections. I checked with Zlin to make sure it was ok and told yes, can be taken as once off intramuscular as well. So this year just went with the same thing. Got to local clinic today for injection and would not do as once off intramuscular because meant to be daily. I was advised having this daily is the same as lupron once off. So I emailed zlin to check and advised no, I need lupron not lucrin. So now stressing out I was due for the jab today and now need to try and sort something out tomorrow morning. By the time I get a new script and get it in it won't be until later in the week. N ot to mention $290 down the drain.
@Kalina welcome. It is a big decision and all you can do is go where you feel is right. I chose Zlin based on feedback on the thread. This year will be my 4th. Always got pregnant but then mc.

    Hope everyone is doing well.

    Deb

@Debant your can get diphereline here and also another one from chemist warehouse as well. That's such a pain, I had the daily injections when I went to Greece and had a whole vial left over from that cycle so I asked zlin if I could use it and was told no that I had to have the one off one. Hopefully you get it all sorted

I'm going to try a diff Dr and if that fails might need the clinic to send to me directly.

I'm not on any injections, jus estrimax, baby aspirin and prednisone then progesterone pressaries later

@jensdream what clinic are you going to again? Zlin will not send over medications I asked that last year for a pregnancy vitamin they recommended.
baby aspirin you don't need a script.
ive private sent you a private message.

my drama got sorted today. I got zoladex from chemist warehouse, they had it in stock. But not intramuscle. This one is an implant put under the skin. So a wide needle for the implant. Not too bad but a bit tender now.

I was talking to the manager who was the one who looked after me. I was telling her what happened with my last pregnancy. She knew Sutherland story, my ob had shared with them, she just didn't know it was me. She said he had commented he had never seen a cord wrapped as tight and as many times as this was. So crappy, things going so well and a freak of a thing like that happens.

@Debant so glad that you got things sorted!! And your so right just a horrible freak of a thing to happen @jensdream sometimes the walk in medical centres are good places to go, sorry your having such a hard time, maybe try ivfmeds, another online pharmacy that will send meds through, just need your clinic to send through a script.

I'm reading along and it seems that lots of women are on prednisone - do the donor egg clinics prescribe/use this routinely or is it only if you have confirmed immune issues?

@Kalina it depends on your clinic and their protocol, zlin have you take prednisone from the day of transfer up until a few days after a bfp, it’s only a low dose, unless you have immune issues then the protocol would be different or you maybe following an immune protocol. It’s just to help your body from initially rejecting the embryos. I also just read your question on the Greek thread, you’ll go nuts trying to go by stats, your better off getting a spread sheet together of the clinics your interested in as the majority have around the same success rates for a fresh transfer, cut it down by price and what is and isn’t included in the clinics cost. Some clinics charge extra for icsi. 5day culture etc and what “extras”do they offer like embryoscope/glue/gen etc and what cost, how much is a fet if you go back for one. Some clinics are as little as €500 and some as much as€1500-2000 for a fet.

@Debant thanks, that's probably good advice. I probably sound neurotic with my research and questions, but i imagine everyone starts out thinking they can find the perfect clinic... I'm glad you got your hands on the Zoladex, good luck with the cycle xo

@stacey10, that sounds like a reasonable approach - you're completely right, I'm going nuts trying to pick a clinic. I've got spreadsheets and emails and stats and am now just going around in circles. Zlin have one date available in January so I have to take it or leave it asap.

@Kalina id book zlin, you get a guarantee of 2x 5day blasts to transfer and they’re also cheaper and so are their fets than most of the Greek clinics if price is important,

@stacey10 yes, Zlin seems to be very good bang for the buck. I'm trying to get my partner to move a work trip commitment which currently clashes with the only date Zlin can give me.

Separately but related... Has anyone done a cycle in the Czech winter? It's so cold! We'll have to factor in $ for weather-appropriate clothes!
