Is this circled bit a Nub or a foot/leg? Anyone a sonograoher? Or very educated when it comes too this. I've been told conflicting things.
    Thanks xx

I'm totally uneducated on this, but my understanding would be the nub is the two lines below where you've circled and as they are parallel to the spine this indicates girl? I could be totally way off, just looks similar to my girl scans.

@MummaOJ I don't even care that your uneducated, just glad someone actually answered my post lol. Feel like this forum is a ghost town sometimes I hardly ever get responses.
For the record I hope you are correct

How many weeks was this scan taken at? Are you wanting to find out?
Totally agree about the ghost town, I think most people use FB unfortunately.

@MummaOJ its 12+4 I posted my scan to the Nub theory experts on FB and got about 25 unanimous boy votes. However the part I circled one of the admin said was the nub, he said the long line will be testicles and the top part will be penis.
I however posted on babycentre and some other forum and 3 diff people have said that the circled part is leg and the nub is below that (what you said)

haha so who knows ... will be interested to know when you find out. I can't wait to know but I'm only 10w and undecided about harmony testing so may need to wait another 10w ....

Not super good at this either but i would have said that the circled part is a part of the leg/foot. My understanding is that the nub is actually fairly small and closer to the body -if that makes sense.

that said, looking at ultrasounds still baffles me. I'm sometimes wondering if the radiographer doesn't circle/point at random bits as i can barely see the difference in what he's pointing at (like the radiographer highlighting each part of the brain and abdomen for us at the 20 weeks U/S )
