It was very yummy if I do say so myself & yes plenty of crackling, it’s just not a pork roast without it.

Pasta is good, DD would eat it every night if I’d let her lol

    What did he do?

Kiddo is back from his mum, I'm really happy to have him back, it's just not right when he's not here.

    awww that’s sweet.

ds is at a very difficult age, demands a lot of energy and attention and i struggle to give it to him as i’m often tied up with dd plus i’m bf so often feel touched out and just want some space to myself. this is of course in addition to getting all the usual weekend stuff done. dunno, just feels like there’s not enough hours in the day.

This is my life at the moment, I’m dealing with the energiser bunny on red bull from wake up to bed time and a 7 week old and DH away working. Add to that a few bouts of sickness ranging from head cold to mountains of vomit I would give anything for some space, but not have to go somewhere for it, space in my own environment. And yeah the cold dreary days dont help.

I hope you are getting your respite!

It's the weekend again, whats everyone doing?

Dad and my brother are staying the weekend, we're watching an old sci fi series dad brought round called Earth 2.

Went to the Royal Adelaide Show with DH and DD. Only spent a couple of hours there, but I think DD had fun anyway. DD had a couple of rides, grabbed a snack, got some showbags, and went to check out the baking I'd entered in the Show's competitive cookery exhibition. Father's Day tomorrow, but I'm not sure what we're doing beyond making DH pancakes for breakfast, and going to church as usual.
