    Default So lost *trigger warning*

I lost my baby girl on the 6th of July. She was 6 months old and I just feel so lost. I don't know what to do

I am so sorry for your loss and can not imagine how difficult this must be for you. I am sure there are some other amazing women on here that may be able to share some advice based on their experience. I have not been through this myself but could not possible read and run. Sending you a big virtual hug xo

@tlakat I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. What was your daughters name?

I can't imagine your pain. Have you been linked in with any support services? If not maybe your GP could suggest something.

There are a few women on the hub who have experienced stillbirth myself included and I can think of one lady who's daughter passed away but I can't remember her username.

Please feel free to chat, vent and share with us.

    Default So lost

I'm so very sorry for your loss. My heart broke when I read your post. I have no words that could provide you with any comfort during this time, other than how sorry I am for your loss. I am so sorry and here if there is anything I can do to help you, anything. My thoughts are with you and your family. I cannot imagine the depth of your grief. I am very sorry.

Her name was Isla, she was the most beautiful little girl and I just loved her so so much.. she had mitochondrial disease and she was having constant seizures. We spend the last 6 months in and out of hospital and it got to the point where there was nothing more they could do for her so we decided to bring her home so she could pass peacefully. They thought she wouldn't even last 24 hours once we brought her home but she made it to 7 days and died in my arms while I was cuddling her.
I just can't believe she's gone.. it doesn't feel real, my life feels so empty

What a beautiful name. I am so sorry Isla couldn't stay with you. You sound like a wonderful mum, all she ever knew was your love.

So sorry for your loss, my heart aches for you.
Counseling is my only suggestion (a friend of mine had a stillborn and found counseling help)
