You will really like this book. I bought the Girl's Stuff 8-12 yrs and as always with Caz Cooke's books, she is very funny and writes things in terms in which a young girl would be receptive to (Slang, funny pics etc) I also liked that it has a bit on bullying and body image etc. When my daughter's a teen, I will get her the next book up.

In movies, when certain words would pop up, I remember my mother mentioning it to me after the movie to see if I knew what it meant. Like "virgin" came up, so she explained what it meant etc.
Or even if there was a scene I wouldn't understand.
Seems like a decent way to slip in small talks so that they seem in context.
So true! I remember watching a movie with my parents and it had a bit of a lesbian scene in it and asking my parents what was happening, they were very open and honest despite my young age.

It's just something that's always talked about in our house, from the moment they were born. Obviously not too much info on sex per Se, but lots in biology
