Today we traveled to santorini by sea. The ship was ok but it got caught in a big swell and i thought i was going to lose my lunch i dodng though. Santorini isnt what i expected. A huge rocky island that is very bare. Or at least what ive seen thus far.
We decided to stay in perissa. Only place on the island with a beach

Santorini has been a blast. Its so relaxed and chilled out.
I cant recommend staying at samsons village enough. Prime location clean and very friendly. We hired quads and explored the island ourselves from top to bottom. No map nothing. It was a blast. Even the harrowing high cliff faces that offered amazing views. May have scared the bejeazus out of DH but all worth it. Warm water beautiful sunsets and lovely back sand. Too bad the same cant be said for the food. Greek cuisine surely isnt what I expected.
Did manage to gind a. NIce restaurant that offered the best we had so far. So today its Yamos to santorini and back to athens for another 3 days.

So after the initial meltdown of BFN i have been wrecking my brain as to why its gone wrong.
My biggest feeling was that day 2 post transfer i rode a quad bike for 6 hours around Santorini island. It may not have done anything but it may that I'll never know.
This morning i woke up . I had a dream that i was in labor. That i was actually giving birth. My last m/c that happpend in dec wouldve been due about now so maybe just my subconscious playing tricks on me.
Nevertheless today im taking a break from all the ivf stuff. Not thinking bout it or following up on anything.
Tomorrow ill talk to supercare and my fs and arrange next steps wanting to go back to greece in November if i can organise super🤞🏼

Today i read that a lady on egg donation greece page gave birth to a sleeping baby at 28+weeks.
    My soul aches for her.
Cant imagine getting that far with a baby through this tremendous journey only to have all your hopes for your dear baby just torn away in a blink of an eye.
Just goes to show no guarantees. Life is precious. Every life wheather it lives inside you for 6weeks 28 weeks never takes a breath or lives a full healthy life. They will always be our children amd we will love them for eternity.
