Default Pls help! Wanting to chat with those traveling to South Africa for IVF w/ donor eggs

    Hi there!
My name is Tessa and I'm an anthropology doctoral student at the University of Cape Town. I've spent the last year researching the social aspects of IVF and egg donation in South Africa for my dissertation. I've done several dozen interviews with men and women hear, but I was wanting to chat with Australian couples that have come to SA for egg donation.

My research has ethical approval from the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Health Sciences at UCT. Our discussion is confidential (meaning I'll tell no one about what we discussed) and you will be anonymized (meaning I'll change your name or any identifiable details in the final write up). Of course, participation is totally voluntary and if ever you wish to remove yourself, you are more than welcome to.

So, if you'd like to join, please send me an email! Participation would require just a chat over skype, maybe an hour for an interview. I'd like to hear your story of travelling to SA and choosing a donor. Thanks so much for your help!

    Warm wishes,
    Tessa

    Default Hi

Hi, I didn't travel to sa for donor ivf but there is a thread on here called "south africa donor ivf". I think you would be more likely to get responses if you popped into that thread and put your request on there. There are literally hundreds of ladies doing this. I went to Greece to do it myself. Just thought that might help :-)

Hi! Thx for your reply! I wasn't sure if it was allowed to post in there since there was this forum for research help. I'll contact a moderator and ask. Thx again!
