I've found that if you've got 28 day cycles, you're less likely to have endo. Can I ask how old you are? AMH of 7 is normal for a 40+ yo but quite low for a young person. If your antral follicle count is much greater than your AMH then something is probably bringing that count down and it's likely to be endo. Maybe have it ruled out just so you can cross it off your list.

Interestingly about the PGD, the endo guy reckons that the embryos are likely to be normal but it's the mitochondria that's not so even if your embryo comes back PGD normal, it still may not have the energy to continue and he suggests mitochondrial testing in place of PGD.. I don't think we do it in this country but I would like to find out because I'm being pushed to do PGD and I don't really want to.

Thanks @nightowlsuprise. I'm 38, still in denial I'm that old! If it's not endo, then what could be wrong? Wish they could hook us up like they do cars to computers and run a diagnostic check for $50! I wonder if that's why people take Coenzyme Q10 to help with the mitochondria of the cells to help develop the egg... but it's too late to take after transfer as said egg has been made. FS says this one has a 60/70% chance of taking but hate to risk it without doing other checks first. However if I should need another egg pick up... will definitely try DHEA and CoQ10 that I've read other ladies taking... I was just on Elevit but not for too long before... have continued on that ever since..:

I did the same as u, had fertility appointments and was about to try IVF before stopping to see a gyno. I had a lap and endo was found to my complete surprise. I was told to wait 3 cycles before trying IVF if unsuccessful to prevent it from growing back and being an issue down the track. I did still need IVF but if I was less impatient maybe we could have fallen naturally? Now have 2 boys from frozen cycles so don't regret not trying naturally for longer at all. All the best with your decision!

Thanks @Maxdreamer! That's my worry that if I don't get checked out for endo, then this perfect embryo will go to waste.... so although I have booked in for the FET, I have my first bloods to check for ovulation on June 5th, and specialist appointment on June 7th. He's also a consultant at my fertility clinic, and I'm wanting to change my FS. so hoping for a good outcome from this appointment.

I got AMH of ~10 a year ago and when I re-tested recently, it was ~14. So dont be frightened.
