    Default sleep suits?

Ok so new mum here sorry about all the questions.
Sleep suits? my little girl is nearly 3 months and its starting to get cold here in brissy lol as cold as brissy gets.. anyway, I still swaddle my girl and cover her with blankets, as per taught by the hospital safe sleeping, but I was wondering when is it safe to use a sleep suit as I am worried about her getting cold at night in our house. She also sleeps next to our bed in a bassinet which is near our window. Just wondering if and when is it safe to use a sleep suit?

    Default sleep suits?

Sleeping bags are safe, as long as you're using the correct size (if they're too big, bub can slip down inside it) and it isn't too hot. Have a look at "tog rating and warmth" on this website to help you understand what tog rating you should get: https://www.thesleepstore.com.au/con...bag#Tog_rating

They're excellent for when bub gets bigger and starts wriggling around in bed and comes uncovered by blankets, they can wiggle all they like in a sleeping bag and still stay covered.

ETA you should get a sleeveless one, as their arms and hands help to regulate their body temperature so shouldn't be inside a sleeping bag.

Ergo pouch cocoon are great! They have poppers near the arms so you can transition to arms out eventually (my daughter was arms in and in the bassinet till 9.5 months!!!)

They, in my opinion are great quality and warmth.

Do a google to find the cheapest as they are pretty expensive but worth it!

I have .2, 1t and 2.5t in the cocoon and 2.5t and 1t in the sleep suit with the arms.

We use the Ergo Pouch sleeping bags. They come with a room thermometer and dressing guide so you know how many layers they need under the bag and which tog to use.
I wouldn't bother with the sleep suit until Bub is walking.

We used grobags for DS when he was little and found them great.

We would buy 3 in each TOG so we could dress him appropriately no matter what the temperature.

Yep, another lover of ergococoons and ergopouch sleeping bags! Would definitely use an ergococoon on a baby that young

I used grobags and would buy them from Trade Secret. They were about half price
