There is a show that follows volunteers who go into jail for like a month or so? Don't quite remember the name of it.

As for me, stuck under 2 kids. Anyone know when I can finally get some personal space back?

Eta. The name is 60 days in.

I've never been in jail but I did used to work in one. This one was a minimum security one so it was nothing like tv or movies.
Minimal drugs in that jail, sexual assault wasn't prevalent. No gangs.
There were standover guys who stood over the weaker guys but they didn't last long.
There was politics - for the best jobs and over women. Most of the drama was with the staff!
I did go to a meeting at port Phillip prison once. That was lots of secure doors and briefings just to get to a meeting room!

That 60 Days In is about hard prisons in America. Our prison system over here is very different. I have had a lot of family experience with prison (officers, not inmates) due to my father, extended family and husband. We live two doors down from a prison currently, as we live on-site. This one is a low security one so not really any of that violence etc. The more higher security prisons have a degree of that. Varying on a lot of differences.

@twinklify, you may get some personal space when the kids reach adulthood. Maybe.

Damn. I also tried moving DS before. Pulled a muscle and it hurts now too. Watching Lucifer to pass the time. Will regret it tomorrow.

    Hi gals.
I am up early with a beauty of a headache. I cant stop thinking about a TV series I marathon watched yesterday. Dh reckons everytime he looked at me I was crying. It was so sad but beautiful.
Now I am trying to find a new series to watch.

Are you a marathon watcher or do you prefer to watch things weekly?

Default Just some mindless chat. Anyone?

Ooh @AdornedWithCats, that's exciting! Any reason you're hesitant to do it?
@LoveLivesHere I'm a bit of both, if I have the time I do like to watch heaps of episodes back to back, but then if it's a series I really love, I like to stretch it out so it doesn't end so quickly.

I'm looking forward to today, we're going down to Wollongong to the kids science museum. My daughter is super excited about it, usually she hates going anywhere further than about 20 minutes away because she gets bored, but is so far ok with the prospect of the hour or so drive. We have to go to the GP first for bubs first immunizations and my 6 week check. Hopefully we won't be there too long. What does everyone else have planned for their Sunday?
