Default 6 weeks old, Orange, smelly poo

My baby is six weeks old and for the last 24 hours or so, he has been doing liquid orange poos that smell bad, like adult poo. He's currently on nilstat for oral thrush and using canestan cream for nappy rash, but he's been on these since Wednesday night and this poo has only started last night. I haven't had any dietary changes that I can think of, only eating and drinking the same types of things and quantities as usual. He seems to be in a bit of pain before he does a poo and wants to be changed immediately, but I imagine that's because it's irritating his nappy rash.

We're going to the GP for his needles tomorrow so will bring it up then, but just wondering if anyone has any idea what could be causing this?

No clue sorry. I know green can be lactose overload etc but no clue with orange.

Definitely ask your GP. My eldest used to get liquid orange poos that would sting her bum when she had teeth coming in. I know 6 weeks is young for teeth but that's the only thing besides a possible reaction to the nilstat that I can think that might cause it.
