    Default timber floorboard cleaning help!

    How do I get my floors shiney!
    some areas appear dull
    I use hot water and a few other cleaners
    Lookin for better tips!

    I think you can use metho or white vinegar - I think it's about one cup to a bucket

    I use O'Cedar wooden floor cleaner.

    Hey there, lilbird.

    My husband and I do not have a timber floor to take care of here, but we did when we were in London. The cleaning was not tricky at all, and usually a damp mop and a cleaning solution did the trick. However, we discovered a cleaning mop from Bona, which made the whole process a lot easier, since I didn't even need to wet the mop. The spraying handle, as it turns out, is a pretty nifty little invention when it comes to shaving time off the cleaning process. You should be able to find one of these in a flooring store around you.

    If you have a Matt paint they won't gloss like a high gloss paint.
