DH wants the Amorok so he can pretend he's a builder ! (We are renovating and he is really handy but can't justify buying a ute just to use on Sundays so my Merc doesn't get trashed!)

Volvo XC90. I need something with extra seats because we always seem to be taxiing the girl's friends around.

i have a 60 and it's pretty roomy? i have genuine concerns as to whether a 90 would fit in our garage. it's a tight fit with little room for error as it is.

I had a XC60 and it was a lemon. Soooo many issues. My advice is sell it before it gets over 150k.

I loved my xc60 but I have to say I think the new xc90 is very nice.

Diesel. Just traded it in and was only offered 8k (I paid 75k 7 years ago). Managed to make them pad it out to 12k. Admittedly a few dents and 200,000km on the clock.

First issue I don't recall what it was, but it was under warranty. Wasn't drivable. Discovered after an error message came up.

    Second issue fuel pump. ($500)

    Third issue transmission ($5k)

Then the fuel gauge broke and I couldn't tell how much fuel I had and misjudged it and ran out (was waiting till next service to get it fixed). Despite adding 15 litres it still wouldn't start. Flattened the battery trying. On a tow truck for the third time. Finally got it started at the mechanics. After that it kept not starting and losing power as I drove. That's when I drove it straight for a trade in. Now have a Kia Sorrento Platimum which I looooove. Hello heated steering wheel
