Exclamation PTSD in a four year old

My four year son has made accusations of sexual abuse against a family member, he seems to have PTSD like symptoms. How do I go about getting this diagnosed being he is so young?

I'm so sorry that you are in this situation.

I would contact Bravehearts and ask them how to proceed.

I second Bravehearts, give them a call, they are a wealth of support and information specifically with children in mind, and Hetty Johnson is lovely.

(((Hugs))) for your little guy, I hope you are able to get some support soon.

I would recommend a visit to the GP for a referral to see a child psychiatrist

we've spoken with the child sexual abuse squad sadly they cannot do much as he is delayed with speech so they were finding it hard to understand what he was saying

Surely they are able to use other ways of getting your child to communicate.
