Default Ladies late 40's to over 50's donor eggs/embryo thread :)

hi not sure if this is needed but just thought I'd pop this up in case anyone is looking and has reached the age limit for donor eggs/embryos that some of the clinics have. Slovakia and north Cyprus seem to be the best two countries to go to once you have reached 50. Would love to hear from any ladies who are considering this route who thought that they had missed out on their chance

Hi, I have no personal experiences, but a friend of mine, who is 47, is considering Czech Rep (Reprogenesis) or Poland (Invicta) or Russia (Next Generation)

The Czech clinics have an age cut off of 49 and the Russian clinics 50, I went to the Czech Republic, but I'm now past that age limit and thought I'd have a look around to see what is out there for ladies once they have turned 50, thanks for your input though

Hi Stacey, You may already know this, but just thought I would let you that there is a lady that just transferred a DE from the new clinic in Olomouc? (Dr Stephen's new one)or it may have been from reprofit in Brno but she has transferred it to the clinic in Bratislava as the age cut off is 52 and she was past the age to have it transferred at the other clinics in Czech

@kgh09 yes I'm thinking it's the same clinic I'm looking at going to. I really just wanted to see if there was anyone else who was interested in a thread as there is an over 50's thread on the uk fertility friends site and there are a couple of Aussie ladies posting on that so I thought maybe I might get a few posting on here but maybe not

No worries, I thought that may have been the one 😀 just wasn't sure if you or anyone else knew that was over the age for the Czech clinics ,that you can transfer the embryos there from Czech , I have just returned from Zlin but will write about that in the other post 😀

@pussyviolet poas is short of pee on a stick as in a home pregnancy test etc, at least one made it to day 5 and yes it only takes one so hopefully that's the one !!

@pussyviolet you can start testing from 5dpt as that's equivalent to 10 dpo, the embryo has until 10 dpo to implant though so it may not be a + yet. If you do start testing make sure you use a good brand like a frer (first response early result) pregnancy test

@pussyviolet if you do test and get a bfn (-) don't give up as it maybe just too early. I went to the Czech Republic for de, and am looking at maybe going to Slovikia next year for donor embryos
