Yes. But I haven't seen her for over a year. Sometimes I don't even speak to her for months. But every time I do, it's like we haven't missed a beat. She is one of the few people I feel really gets me. And she feels the same way about me.

I have a few really close friends. One here, one in London, and 3 back home. I only really speak to the one who lives here regularly, but know that my friendships with the others will always be strong, and we don't always need to talk all the time.

Then there are maybe 5 people who I would consider close, but not as close as the previously mentioned friends.

I should note though, that I only really see 1 of the mentioned friends regularly. One of them I see every few months. The rest I haven't seen for over a year.

I miss my friends dearly, and I find it so hard to make new friends that I really feel it up here.

Yes, I have a best friend. We have been besties for over 20 years.

She lives interstate, so we tend to catch up only once a year, otherwise we talk on the phone/text or message via Facebook.

I wish we lived closer, but we're both quite settled where we live so I don't think it'll ever happen. She's only a 1 hour flight away, so it's not too bad

One of my other close girlfriends is moving closer to me and I can't wait to have a friend close enough to catch up with for semi-regular coffee dates.

I have one best friend and I'm also close with my sister. I find it really hard to make new friends though and tend to stick with the people I've known my whole life...

Default do you have a best friend?

Sadly no. I also don't have any friends I socialise with. Hubby has a friend and they have coffee every week without fail.

I'm lucky enough to have a few, but I don't see them often. Two or three are from school and we try so hard to catch up more frequently but it just doesn't happen! One lives interstate and we mainly text / email, and the others are acquaintances, school mum's, former workmates etc.

No. I have no best friend. I have about 3 friends that I talk to once a fortnight. I miss having a friend to just pop over for coffee whenever!

I sure do! We've been best friends since we were 15, although there was a period of about 3 years in our early twenties when she moved away and we lost contact for a bit.

She lives in a different state to me now so we don't catch up as often as we'd like, but we message daily and talk on the phone most days. We talk a lot more now that we both are home with babies all day.

    She's fantastic in every way

I have 3 other close friends. One I've known since I was 12, and we have the kind of relationship where we don't talk or see each other for months or even years, but then we catch up and nothing has changed.

The second one is a girl we used to employ. She's a decade younger than me but we get on like a house on fire. We have a sisterly type relationship

And the third one I met through my best friend. We were both bridesmaids at her wedding. She's amazing! I wish we could catch up more regularly, but we message often and speak on the phone about once a month.

ETA: if we can include family, I'm really close with my brother and sister as well. But again, they live in another state. I don't have any close friends (except DH) who live nearby.

I have 2 very close friends. One is technically my bestie and we get on great but our lives don't intertwine that much as in she holidays with other families and our kids aren't in the same sporting teams etc.
My other close friend is super close. She lives 2 streets from me, our kids are in the same class and play sport together. She's the friend that can come over at a moments notice and help out with a house of gastro etc. She's the non judgy I'll be there for anything friend! We text daily and see each other multiple times a week

My bestie actually dropped in today spur of the moment and brought coffees and muffins, bliss!

Bff we are super close. Generally chat on the phone while she drives home from work to keep her from getting to tired. See each other once a week for dinner With the family. We met at a Tupperware party 10 yrs ago. How 70's of us. Super close bond as our siblings passed away on the same date but different years. Very spooky. She also has boys close in age to DS1. We would do anything for each other
