Does anyone get pain during ovulation? I have never had O pain but yesterday and today I have had a full ache, a bit like period pain and I got peak fertility on my OPK yesterday. Not sure if I should be concerned or if it's "normal".

I've always had ovulation pain, it's like a milder version of period cramps with a few more sharp stabbing pains on whatever side I'm ovulating from.
Tidbit - there's a word for it in German - "mittelschmerz", which translates to "middle pain" ie. pain in the middle of the cycle due to ovulation.

Haha yes I definitely agree with this Proteaceae. Everywhere I look there are cute little babies and my ovaries get excited!

Within the past two weeks I have found out that three of my friends are pregnant, which I am so very excited for them!! Fingers crossed this is everyones month

    Thanks! I love fun facts
I just consulted good old Dr Google and apparently it's normal and could be a good thing, I sign that I've O'd and am in my fertile window.

I guess we will just BD every 2 days and hope we catch the eggy!
Is it possible you could have PCOS? With PCOS ladies, they tend to have elevated LH levels, the same hormone that rises 12-36 hours before ovulation, tricking PCOS women into thinking they're ovulating.. I would get your LH blood levels checked to see if there's a pattern of elevated LH generally. PCOS women can't use opks because it's always positive and they can't tell from that when they do in fact ovulate..

I'm trying to resist the urge to do an opk. I decided no charting or testing or tracking this cycle. But it's so hard when you have a box waiting in the cupboard! It won't make much difference to when we bd so there isn't any point but I still want test! I'm a scientist so I like to have all the data.... Not charting is more relaxing but also making me feel like we're BDing "in the dark!" (Pun intended) Does anyone here not chart or track at all? I still can't decide which way I want to go.
