Default What would you serve with tea and coffee post dinner

Good evening, we are going out to dinner with my husbands parents and nanna on Wednesday night. They will be coming back to our house for tea and coffee after dinner, I would like to know what would you usually serve. It has to be something that can be prepared in advance and it cannot be a cheesecake due to me making one of those to take on Sunday for Mother's Day. I am the type of person who loves cooking but also loves my husbands family so I like to make a effort any suggestion are appreciated

I would make some nice shortbread or other biscuits maybe some chocolate truffles. I guess it depends what you are doing for dinner, will anyone want more to eat?

Some biscuits that go well with coffee/tea.
    Shortbreads, Marias, Madeleines, etc.

I would do a cheese board and crackers and choc dipped strawberries or a little apple slice or tart or even maybe a mousse or tiramisu that you can make before and keep in the fridge ready to serve

Tiramisu is a great make ahead of time dessert, but really any cake/slice.

Cheese board with some sweet quince paste and fruit for sweetness. Good quality dark choc after dinner mints or truffles. No prep needed!
