    Default Melbourne girls, advice please!!

So I'm heading to Melbourne for my 30th with a group of girls with varied ages and interests. We are staying on queen street and am after some ideas of things to do, particularly restaurant suggestions. Anything else you think is a must do throw it my way 😊 Thanks

    Default Melbourne girls, advice please!!

We did this for my friends 30th a couple of years back. This is some of what we did...

    - friend whose bday it was organized a stretch limo to take us from the airport to the hotel and then to Chapel St. (South Yarra)

    - friend also organized for us to go to a taping of The Project - channel 10 studios is on Chapel St

    - went for dinner after the taping at this really nice restaurant that was next to a sort of boutique hotel. Can't remember what it was called, but the cocktails were delicious!

    - Saturday we went shopping in the city.

    - Dinner on Lygon St. this was at the insistence of some of the girls who had never been to Melbourne. Food wasn't too bad, but it can be a bit hit and miss along there.

    - After dinner some of the girls went to a club. I am so not a clubbing person (neither were 2 of the other girls) so we wandered down to somewhere near Flinders St station in search of ice cream (we were staying on Collins St, so it was a short walk) and checked out all the Christmas decorations around the city.

    - Sunday we went down to St Kilda to the markets. Stopped off at Federation Square to check out the awesome lego Christmas display, stopped at a chocolate shop somewhere for afternoon tea and then flew home later that night.

I'm planning my trip back to Melb, what I love is the arcades, you haven't seen Melbourne if you don't take a stroll through the arcades (royal arcade and block arcade are my favs, everyone loves haighs chocolate at the block arcade but I think the one in the royal arcade is nicer.)
There are nice restaurants at crown casino. A walk down Southbank, then your near fed square. Near by are the aquarium and art centre. There are also a few good restaurants at the docklands.
There's that city circle tourist tram, I'm guessing it stops at all the main attractions. Or a boat ride down the Yarra. If your there for the weekend people usually enjoy the queen vic market. Old Melbourne goal? Eureka tower? Zoo? Shopping on Collins or Brunswick st? St kilda- a walk down the pier, nice restaurants in the area too.
Night clubs- I have no idea, I have no idea where people go out anymore.
