OB just said if I'm bleeding excessively then go to emergency. I think the contraction type pains are coming back so I will monitor and then go up after lunch if nec. I just don't want to go up there and sit in excruciating pain for hours to be sent home.

yeah i get that, i'd be the same way. just monitor as you say. could you try letting a pad soak up a big gush and see how much it fills up?

They are definitely contractions of sorts, that's how it felt for me too hun. I didn't bleed that much though. Just keep an eye on it and if concerned go to hospital. So sorry you have to go through this. The following day I went and got a massage. I didn't know what to do with myself and just wanted to start feeling better. I found the massage very healing.

id still call the OB just in case.
I had the gushing too .. to me in the shower and i was shocked by the amount but after it.. it eased a lot. I think the gushing is usually when you pass the sac.. but im not sure. Hugs to you.

Sounds a bit like mine Nattie84. I had heavy bleeding and a few clots and thought threat was it. Then about a day and a half after that, I had terribly painful cramps and I passed the sac. After that, the bleeding eased and I bled for about 8 days all up. The doc told me up to 2 weeks was normal. I hope you start to heal physically and emotionally soon.

Pain got bad again so I went to the emergency room.. passed another large clot bigger than the other two. Hopefully this will be over soon, waiting for a scan and then doctor will decide what to do.
