I'm really undecided about what I think is up. UK media is being REALLY restrained at this point which is not like them at all. I even went and checked out what the Daily Fail had to say *shudder* and whilst they have their usual 'sources' they haven't gone at batty as they usually do. The UK media will pull themselves up if ordered by the palace so I have to wonder about the communication between the two entities.

Or more likely, it's a drill.

I read not too long ago that they wouldn't tell the public until everything is set in place.
The code was "london bridge is down" to keep the info quiet until these steps are taken and the right people know first.
That was before internet and social media though, so who knows what they have in place now.

Maybe media blackouts are just REALLY efficient over there. Like not a single thing gets out until it's 'time'. SO CURIOUS!!

Here's the update from my app http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-39801908

It says these meetings usually happen about once a year. I feel the media over here loves to sensationalize things so if they're being restrained then I think it is nothing.

    Default Emergency at Buckingham Palace.

Just heard that Philip may be retiring. Don't blame him at almost 96!
