Nope, renting here. Not planning on staying here in the long term and the property market here hasn't changed much in the last 10 years. In fact, people who bought 10 years ago are struggling to sell for what they paid back then. So, we're not going to buy any time soon.

And our savings haven't improved in the last 2 years because of large expenses. We've forked out about $20k moving interstate 3 times since early 2015, bought a second car (no loan), bought 2 rooms worth of furniture, spent about $4k travelling between here and our parents' places last year and had a second bub. If we could stop moving house and buying big items we'd be able to save again. Reading that back makes me realise exactly how much we could have in savings and that's a little depressing.

Own a house with a mortgage and currently have tenants. We live in a different location due to husbands work in an employer subsidised house.

We rent in Sydney we moved here at the wrong time and despite having a good deposit and reasonable income we couldn't afford a mortgage. Bl00dy investors have priced us out of the market, It makes me very angry that this situation has been allowed to happen.

Own with a mortgage. Current mortgage is about 60% of the house/property value.
