@cag14 the list that @Phia has posted has been taken from betabase which is a great site very reasurring. It shows that 1653 women who have stored their hcg results for 14dpo (which I am thinking you must be) results range from 14 to 4622 with an average result of 208. Yes this does mean your number is under average but definitely not the lowest possible number.
Unfortunately you need to know doubling so yes your clinic are right to repeat bloods. Its awful when you have waited so long for answer but be reasured you are not out just yet x

Summer I am so sorry the ttc and ivf machine churned you up and spat you out the way it did.
I hope your tests for brain and breast cancer come back negative.
I am sorry that miscarriage and ivf were your whole story and not part of your infertility story.
I know you won't have better days soon but I hope you are able to find some peace with your path in life.

IVF Over 40's #45
@Billie2 sorry to hear about your husband. I know someone who went through ivf and her husband had polycystic kidneys. Apparently he had cysts in his testicles so while sperm was getting out, it wasn't good quality and they did a testicular biopsy for good sperm. I don't recall what process their embryo testing took but if you aren't getting a lot of answers from your clinic, I can ask them.
