Unfortunately I had to cancel my appointment with Wazza. I couldn't find a ticket for under $500 and it was just too much. I just bought a house so no money, and got a promotion so harder to take leave. I asked for a phone or skype appointment, but no go. They've recommended I try a FS in the same place, Scott someone? He will do skype appointments. But I think I might just keep trying instead. I was never going to cycle with Wazza, just wanted his opinion on my current treatment plan.

I have been too busy to be sad after my last failed FET, but every now and then it hits me. The hardest thing is I just realised they are dead. It sounds silly to say it, but I was always thinking "I should be pregnant, I should be on maternity leave, I should be due, I should be giving birth" and one night driving home I was thinking "I should be at home looking after two babies" and then I thought "But they're dead." And now that is the thought that lurks in the back of my brain. Geez, that sounds morbid...

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm not sure if I'll be lurking or not, it's kind of easier not to. But feel free to tag me and I'll pop in
    Hello Luv....

The FS they've recommended is Scott Salisbury. I second @Phia's post and am sending you much love, hugs and healing

I don't know if you're seeing anyone (Psychologist for eg) to help you deal with the heartbreak and trauma that you're going through. If not, maybe getting your GP to put together a Mental Health Plan so you can access the Medicare Rebated 10 sessions with one (that's what I've done so I can basically vent out my frustrations about my life, ***** about my Ex!!! with my Psychologist) might be something you might consider doing???

I can understand if you need to take a BH break if that makes it easier for you but please come back and talk to us in here if you need support ok??xoxoxo

AFM... transfer went really well and had some amazing news... all 5 embies are still going! One looks dodgy and about to arrest, one might not be able to be biopsies, but to have 3 blastocysts was a result I didn't expect! So one on board (I didn't want to put two in... I don't trust my body with these precious embies, I want a chance to tweak things with dr m if this one does not work) and 2, maybe 3 to freeze. So nice to have a good news day
    Congrats on being PUPO Luv!!!!

and prayers being sent for a suuper sticky one for you!!!!

Am also keeping all appendages crossed that at least 2 of your other embies if not all 3 make it into the freezer for you!!!

@BlondeinBrisvegas You're a tall drink of water on a hot day, lady. Thank you for thinking of me.

Trying not to lose my head over here - with all the progesterone and steroids I oscillate from being the Soup Nazi in Seinfeld to a tear squirting emotional teenager!

It's 5:42am and Ive been awake since 3:30.... funny I don't mind the insomnia, but it makes for being glued on BH!

Here's hoping for a smooth week for you BIB and to all the other ladies, much love and hope, may the universe smile and turn in your favour.

@Phia dont worry, the soup nazi was just misunderstood, he suffered for his soup, kramer was the only one who truly understood him. I'll be your kramer. P.S. im going to see Jerry seinfeld live in august, he is coming to sydney. It was part of my plan to live life during 2017 instead of just ivf-ing constantly and missing out on stuff. Lol and im going to see Ice-T/ Bodycount in sydney next saturday! Oh the 90's...such an awesome decade xox

    Default IVF Over 40's #45

@gorgeousgeorge thanks form making me smile - a big one! How awesome that you're going to see
Jerry! My DH and I are big fans but we passed on tickets given the cost of this DE cycle.

This is your year girlfriend! I feel
so pumped for you - like Tom Cruise jumping on the couch Oprah style...like freaking happy cartwheels...Yippe Ky-Yay MF!

I was very much into 80s/90s (I still am) and I've pretty much seen every one I wanted to except.... Pulp cuz I was on Mat leave and didn't know they were out. And Jeff Buckley cuz, well he died before I got the chance. Bummer.

@Phia yeah i been feeling the same about chris cornell soundgarden this week. I went to the pub last night and practised my fake drinking again, my dh bass player in a band and was playing there last night, at the end of the gig, the band and audience (all my friends n locals coz our town the size of a small commune) all just sang acapella soundgarden song in Chris' memory, was sad but beautiful. (Yeah i know right seinfeld tickets $200!! Ive never heard of a show costing that much. Bought them on my credit card when i was drunk, got one for my best mate too, hasnt paid me back yet either, ivfs made me a bit mad with money now coz i say yo myself 'at least im bloody guaranteed to actually get something for my money'. Ive posted this before but this is the birthday present i made for my best mate coz we seinfeld tragics, it's macarroni- bobby. He is alwats smoking and giving the finger every photo we take. Haha when i was making it, i went to bite the cap off the superglue by putting it between my teeth coz i had my hands full, except the lid wasnt on it and i squirted a mass of superglue into my frucking mouth, nearly glued my lips, teeth and tounge together and couldnt get floss down between all my front teeth for weeks coz of the glue. FFS! I remember thinking, as i was sitting at the kitchen table, making craft out of macaroni, by myself, at the age of 35, "i need babies to make this normal!" Hope that makes ya giggle too xox

@Phia and @gorgeousgeorge I am a 90s tragic too... don't listen to anything else! It's been soundgarden and Chris Cornell solo for the past week, but my true love is pearl jam and Eddie Vedder ❤️
