Have you had your follow up hcg bloods today @gorgeousgeorge or did I get my dates mixed up?
Hi @Heyside yes i did, beta was 266! So more than double in 48 hours. Off for intralipids tomorrow at my old clinic so it will be nice to see my australian fs, the nurse said he was looking forward to seeing me so I'd like to give him a hug.

How are you going resting up? Do you have more scans coming up to check on your little one?

Wow huge congratulations @gorgeousgeorge you must be so happy with that number time to celebrate. Will be nice to see your australian fs too tomorrow do happy for you!!!!!

Yes still resting here and just eating and sleeping through boredom lol. Had a lovely phonecall tonight after hours from my gp after he got my latest bloods through from yesterday. He phoned to congratulate us after our 4 years of hell, hes been with us through it all. Unfortunately my vit D is low and there is a slight issue with my glucose and one of the thyroid results but nothing to get too concerned over just yet, he said to see what my ob said next week.

If you had cancer, you wouldnt feel bad about taking time off for chemo. Ivf is hard at work because its invisible to others and you usually can't say why you need the time off. I dont know if it would help to think like this for yourself? I also figure ive already been dealt a rough hand and why beat myself up more. When im trying to choose between 2 hard s h i t t y choices, i also try to think which one would i regret more? So maybe for you think if you would regret another day off or waiting 4 weeks? that might help make it easier. Just my 2cents but hope it helps in some way. Best wishes whatever you decide xox
I feel bad cause the last few years ive had soo much time off. Between a work comp injury, heart infection, sick, a day off every month when my period falls on a work day (too heavy to leave the house, for my daughters school meetings (she has autism), etc.,,,,,

and now im sick again after taking half day last Thursday for mothers day at school (my daughter cried when i told her i wasnt going) and then got my periods so was off the friday too. Took part day tuesday for parent teacher interviews and Wednesday sick. Dr wants me off all week but i rang to ask work if i can call daily if im not ok to try and get some work in. And i feel horrid, was in bed most of yesterday now doing the do i go or not.. no sick leave left, all unpaid leave.

I ended up asking about the Thursday when i rang work yesterday, so i have that off.. ive turned into a very unreliable worker. Last management agreed all leave was with good reason but still chastised me for taking so much so im very uncomfortable. I do supply drs certificates and copies of notes from the school for them. But after thinking about waiting till the end of june i caved.

Had bloods done yesterday ready for the appointment and got my ultrasound results throu. Cant really understand if its good or bad, i do have 2 fibroids which my gp said is why i get heavy periods he said it doesnt inhibit fertility, also waiting on a appointment with the public gyno clinic about the results and see if they will re attempt the hystoscopy

@MysticFalls Am glad all went well with meeting your ED Luv and that it's "all systems go" once you get the counselling etc out of the way You'll be Cycling again before you know it Luv and hopefully on your way to a BFFP with #Project Sibling

@skeeter Welcome back Luv!! Totally understandable you needed a break from everything and everywhere TTC/baby related etc. Try to keep that appointment with Wazza of if you can ok?? What time does the cheapest ar*se airfare you can get leave/arrive here in Brisbane?? If you then factor in travel time from the airport to the city to get to Wazza's rooms you could then ring the Admin Girls and see if they could fit you in around that time once you explain things to them so you can make the appointment?? I always found them to be helpful in there. Might be worth a try???
